⚠️ Transfer and Accommodation Notice

In accordance with Turkish Health Tourism regulations and the Digital Tracking System (DTS), in order for transfer services to be organized by our team, the full names and passport details of our patients and all accompanying guests must be shared with us prior to arrival in Turkey.

Transfer services can only be provided for guests whose names have been registered in the system in advance.

If passenger names, passport details, or the number of accompanying guests are not shared with us before arrival, or if any changes are not communicated in advance, it is not legally possible for us to include these guests in our transfer vehicles or arrange transfers on their behalf. Similarly, accommodation arrangements for these guests may not be possible.

Pre-Surgery Health Guidelines

  • Mounjaro (tirzepatide): Must be stopped 2 weeks before surgery.
  • HRT patches: Please stop 1–2 weeks before surgery.
  • Alcohol & smoking: Avoid completely (including vapes) at least 2 weeks before surgery.
  • Blood thinners: Must be avoided at least 1 week before surgery.
⚠️ Important Note

For patients who need to continue blood thinners, a special protocol will be applied. Your consultant will provide you with detailed information and personalized guidance to ensure your safety.

Pre-Surgery Preparation

Important Items to Remove Before Surgery

  • All piercings: Must be removed before surgery (ears, nose, belly button, etc.).
  • All jewelry: Rings, necklaces, bracelets, watches, and earrings must be taken off.
  • Prosthetic/acrylic nails: It is strongly recommended to remove them before surgery.
  • Contact lenses: Remove before the procedure if applicable.
💅 Why Remove Nails & Jewelry?

During surgery, medical staff monitor your oxygen levels and blood circulation through your fingernails and skin. Prosthetic nails and jewelry can interfere with these vital monitoring devices and must be removed for your safety.

  • Footwear: Comfortable slippers for walking.
  • Personal care: Your preferred toiletries and self-care products.
  • Electronics: Plug converter for UK/EU devices (Turkey uses 220V Type F plugs).
  • Entertainment: Books, tablets, or other items to keep you comfortable.
  • Essential medications: Any required medications not discontinued for surgery (such as thyroid or blood pressure medications).

Fasting Before Surgery

🕐 Critical Safety Requirement

You must fast from midnight on the day of your operation. This means absolutely no food or drink after midnight. This is essential for your safety during anaesthesia and ensures the best surgical outcome.

7 nights accommodation is the standard package for most plastic surgery procedures. However, this may vary depending on your specific procedure. Your patient coordinator will confirm the exact duration tailored to your treatment plan.

  • Total experience: Approximately 7-8 nights in Turkey (procedure-dependent).
