Can I Regain Fat After Liposuction?

Can I Regain Fat After Liposuction?

Unfortunately, it is possible to gain fat after vaser liposuction, if you let it. In general the more weight the patient gains after liposuction, the less dramatic the consequences.

If the patient gains a small amount of weight after the procedure, for example, 5 kilos, fat cells in the body grow a little larger. While this slight weight gain can reduce outcomes, the overall improved body shape provided by a vaser liposuction procedure will still be visible as it contains fewer fat cells (and therefore experiences a lower rate of dilation) in the treated body areas compared to surrounding areas.

Finally, in cases of significant weight gain (that is, 10% of their body weight);

New fat cells can develop all over the body, including treated areas. However, since the formation of new fat cells typically occurs evenly in the body, fat usually accumulates less in treated areas compared to untreated areas. Therefore, many liposuction patients who gain significant weight after the procedure tend to look better than those who do not have liposuction.

What should I do to observe longer lasting results from Liposuction?

How to protect your vaser liposuction results;

The most effective way to maintain the results of any liposuction procedure in the long term is to maintain your ideal weight. Here are 6 healthy lifestyle changes you should adopt after your procedure:

  • Following post operative care and instructions provided by Ck Health Turkey Medical Centre consultants.
  • Reduce calorie intake while eating a healthy diet that focuses on protein and healthy carbohydrates.
  • Continue drinking plenty of water.
  • Never skip meals and regularly exercise.

  If the patient gains a significant amount (ten pounds or more) of weight after liposuction in Turkey, the body will potentially produce new fat, and this fat should go to various parts of the body. New fats usually accumulate in body areas in proportion to the number of fat cells in each region.

As a result, areas where liposuction is applied will collect less fat. However, more fat will accumulate in areas where liposuction is not applied.

Liposuction Before and After;

 After liposuction surgery, the surgeon will give the patient instructions to follow a healthy lifestyle. At the stage of early liposuction recovery time, the patient should take only light walks at home to improve blood flow.

Over the next two to three weeks, they can gradually increase activity levels without putting any pressure on the cuts.

The incisions fully heal in about a month, during which time the patient can perform more aggressive exercises. They should take a diet that includes fruits, vegetables and fiber, avoiding saturated fats and processed foods as much as possible.

Liposuction in Turkey, is a minimally invasive cosmetic surgery that removes fat from body parts. The procedure uses a thin, hollow tube known as a cannula, which is inserted into the body through incisions to loosen and absorb excess fat using a vacuum or a cannula-bound syringe.

To conclude, liposuction is not a substitute for weight loss. It is not considered a treatment for obesity and does not promise permanent weight loss. It does not destroy cellulite, does not tighten loose or sagging skin.

 The procedure is aimed at areas of fat that do not respond to exercise or diet. Vaser Liposuction targets areas of the thighs, abdomen, arms, back, hips, hips, sides, chest, face, calves and ankles and a body contouring can be provided accordingly.
