In general, patients can stand up and take short walks approximately after 6 – 8 hours post-op of your gynecomastia surgery.
You should rest for 2- 3 days after surgery. This is highly essential to speed up your healing process.
You should wear a compression garment for 5 weeks after surgery. This compression garment can be used for up to 6 weeks with the permission of the doctor.
You may return to your daily routine approximately a week post-op.
Also, you can do light exercises and walks, a week after surgery. You may resume doing heavy sports and lifting heavy objects after fully completing your recovery.
Since the healing process varies from patient to patient, contact one of our medical healthcare professionals for more information.
